Meet The Contributors

KYLE BOREING

Kyle Boreing, author of Southern Gospel View and solo gospel artist, hails from Deer Park, Ohio where he lives with his son Blake. He started singing professionally at the age of 16, has attended The Stamps-Baxter School of Music, and has been a studio singer and musician. Kyle plays drums, keyboard, bass, guitar and mandolin and has used his talents by taking part in praise and worship bands in various churches and bands. He is a fan of The Oak Ridge Boys, having sung on stage with them on many occasions.


WES BURKE

Wes Burke is the author of the Burke’s Brainwork blog. He holds a B.BA in Information Systems from the University of Memphis and works as a .NET Web Developer for a major financial corporation. He is currenty the lead singer for Faith Quartet, and is an avid collector of vintage SG albums. Wes is married, and he and his wife have 2 small children, a son and a daughter.


BRANDON COOMER

Brandon Coomer is the author of Coomer Cove. He holds an AS degree in history, yet works in the IT department of a physician’s office. He serves as the sound tech for the Crystal River Boys, a local southern gospel group. His collection of southern gospel music includes a complete collection of all known recordings by Gold City, including their guest vocal appearances. He and his wife Lisa make their home in Kingsport, TN.


ADAM EDWARDS

Adam Edwards is the author of Southern Gospel Critique. He holds a BS in Business Administration and owns Memory Lane Photography (a photography services company) and Adam Edwards Designs (a graphic & website design company), as well as working as a Systems Administrator for the Global Corporation, Glen Raven, Inc. Adam is married with 2 small daughters and travels locally with his family group, The Edwards Family. He is also an avid collector of Southern Gospel music, both current & classic.


DAVID BRUCE MURRAY

David Bruce Murray holds a Masters degree in Music Theory and has worked as a church music leader for more than twenty years. He is the author of Murray’s Encyclopedia Of Southern Gospel Music and is a recognized critic in the field of Southern Gospel music. David’s reviews are published monthly in Singing News magazine and on his popular Musicscribe blog. He is also the editor of www.SGHistory.com, a non-profit website devoted to preserving the history of Southern Gospel music for generations to come.


DANIEL J. MOUNT

Daniel J. Mount maintains SouthernGospelBlog.com. He is an author and conference speaker. His most recent book is The Faith of America’s Presidents, published by AMG Books / Living Ink in 2007. He writes a regular column for Home School Digest magazine. His personal website is www.DanielMount.com.


AARON SWAIN

Aaron Swain is a young Southern Gospel fan from Central VA and author’s the Swain’s Musings blog. He started his blog in 2007 with the sole purpose of giving readers the younger generation’s view of SG, a side not many people get to see. He was honored to be invited to the 1st Bloggers’ Roundtable at NQC 2007 after only a few short months of blogging. He is grateful to be blessed to have such a readership at such a young age. He is also part of an organization, Southern Gospel VA, that works to bring SG to the younger generation.
